About Muuto
The Copenhagen house that re-stated Scandinavian design as a contemporary brief rather than a heritage label. Muuto (from Finnish "muutos", change) was founded in 2006 by Peter Bonnén and Kristian Byrge and works with a small roster of Scandinavian designers, Anderssen & Voll, Thomas Bentzen, TAF Studio, Mika Tolvanen, across indoor and outdoor furniture and lighting. The outdoor catalog is deliberately compact: Settle, Linear, Coffee and Assemble, each engineered for permanent outdoor exposure, all built around Muuto's signature minimalist vocabulary of muted color and weighted geometry.
