Glatz · Hospitality · Integrated LED
Glatz's flagship large-format center-pole parasol with dimmable LED light strips integrated into the underside of the ribs. Engineered specifically for hospitality terraces, restaurants, rooftop bars, event venues, hotel pools, where shade must transition seamlessly from daytime canopy to ambient evening lighting. The Fortello LED platform extends across square and rectangular formats (2.5–4 meters), takes a replaceable canopy on a service contract, and is rated to Beaufort 5 wind in standard configuration.
The Fortello LED. outdoor sits within 's permanent outdoor catalog, a position has held as a European specialty outdoor house with established US trade representation. Fortello LED. is produced in specialty European outdoor materials matched to the brand's catalog tradition as part of 's premium European outdoor programme, with the configuration designed by 's in-house design team.
's outdoor pieces are built around specialty European outdoor materials matched to the brand's catalog tradition. For US trade specifiers, this means Fortello LED. carries the same material data sheets and US-trade documentation as the rest of the catalog: ASTM F1858 outdoor furniture compliance where applicable, fire-code classification on cushion components, and chain-of-shipment documentation supplied with the invoice. Bespoke fabric or finish substitutions are accepted on COM workflow with confirmed yardage at quote stage; see the Sunbrella and Outdura specifier reference for the workflow at the European factory.
Pricing for Fortello LED. at US trade typically falls between on quote at US trade volumes, before fabric grade, finish premium, and consolidated freight. Lead time is 8-14 weeks from European factory to US port for standard configurations; bespoke dimensions, COM upholstery, or large hospitality volumes extend by 4-8 weeks. The collection is specified in US hospitality outdoor (boutique hotel terraces, resort pool decks, restaurant outdoor dining) and in premium residential outdoor (lake-house, pool-house, rooftop terrace) installations.
Standard Fortello LED. configurations ship 8-14 weeks from European factory to US port. Bespoke dimensions or COM upholstery add 4-8 weeks. Hospitality projects above 50 pieces consolidate on a single container and follow the same standard timeline.
Yes. runs a verified US trade programme. Net trade pricing for Fortello LED. is shared after qualification (designer of record, project scope) and is set under the non-disclosure agreement applicable to all premium European outdoor specifiers.
Most collections, including Fortello LED., accept COM upholstery and bespoke dimensions within manufacturer tolerance. See the FF&E procurement workflow for the full COM and bespoke sequence, including fabric yardage, factory shipping, and lead-time impact.
Premium European outdoor pieces share a common care pattern: quarterly rinse with clean water and mild soap, twice-yearly inspection of cushions and fittings, and off-season storage of soft goods in freeze-thaw climates. Structural elements (aluminum, FSC teak, steel) typically carry 5-10 year warranties; fabrics and cushions 2-3 years against UV and stitching. US service life on European premium outdoor is typically 15-25 years on structural elements and 5-10 years on cushions, with COM refresh extending the cycle. Documentation and warranty registration are supplied with the invoice at the trade tier.
Materials & Finishes
Aluminum center-pole frame (anodised, powder-coated, or RAL-matched). Canopies in solution-dyed acrylic or Sunbrella outdoor textile from the Glatz library, 120+ colors. LED strips dimmable from the mast control, IP65-rated, replaceable in service.
Aftercare
Five-step protocol consistent with Glatz's published guidance for center-pole hospitality parasols.
The Fortello LED is engineered for Bf 5 standard. Above that, close and secure the canopy. For permanent installations in higher wind zones, specify the wind-stability upgrade kit at order.
A soft-bristle brush followed by a clear-water rinse is sufficient. Solution-dyed acrylic is color-fast and resists most environmental staining; allow the canopy to dry fully before closing.
The LED strips are IP65-rated and replaceable in service. Check the housing for moisture ingress at the start of each season; report any flickering to the local Glatz service partner.
The tilt and rotation mechanism benefits from a single application of silicone lubricant per year. Avoid petroleum-based lubricants on the canopy hardware.
Glatz produces fitted covers for all Fortello formats. Recommended for any closure period exceeding four weeks, particularly under tree-litter or maritime exposure.
