Designer
Christophe Pillet is a French designer based in Paris, with a practice that spans furniture, lighting, interiors and yachts. Trained at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI–Les Ateliers), he opened his own studio in Paris in the early 1990s after working with Philippe Starck and Martine Bedin. The Pillet language is quiet precision: long horizontals, soft cushion volumes on minimum-section frames, an interest in proportion over ornament. His long-running outdoor commission for Emu covers the Antigua family in its multiple typologies.
