A five-step protocol from Barlow Tyrie's care manual, adapted for American climate ranges.
A soft hose stream removes salt residue from the powder-coat and pollen from the teak grain. The PVC-coated sling sheds water naturally; rinse top-side and underside both.
Lukewarm water with a pH-neutral soap and a soft cellulose sponge handle wine, sunscreen and food spills on the PVC sling. Avoid abrasive sponges, which can scratch the matte powder.
Teak armrests silver naturally in 6 to 9 months. To hold the original honey tone, apply Barlow Tyrie Teak Care Set once at install and every spring.
Sling dining chairs stack to four, armchairs to three, counter stools to three. Cover when stacked outdoors for prolonged absences; breathable covers prevent moisture entrapment.
Powder-coated aluminum does not corrode but joinery hardware can loosen with thermal expansion. A standard hex-key kit (supplied) handles tightening; full re-tension service is offered through the Boston distribution office.

Equinox uses a 316 marine stainless frame; Aura uses powder-coated aluminum. Aura accepts a full RAL custom color range; Equinox is finished as polished stainless or with an optional graphite powder-coat. Aura's sling allows lighter weight; Equinox uses a denser woven Textilene.
The standard sling is a Barlow Tyrie proprietary PVC-coated polyester; bespoke COM sling is available with a 2-meter sample, outdoor double-rub rating ≥60,000 (higher than fabric standard due to mechanical stress), and 6-week added lead-time.
