Ethimo and Cristina Celestino have created an eclectic collection of benches and tables for outdoor living in simplicity and harmony. The evocative and symbolic name Seeds, a reference to the world of gardening and traditional greenhouse and nursery furnishings, was chosen to describe a collection essential in its forms yet elegant in its details, where warm and fine materials like terracotta and natural teak come together in a sophisticated balance of textures and processes.
Like the seeds that germinate and transform into plants, the Seeds collection recalls the concept of growth, renewal and attunement to nature, expressing infinite possibilities for furnishing outdoor spaces. The elements that comprise it can, indeed, be combined with great versatility, adapting freely to the environment that houses them, creating fluid and organic compositions that are different every time.
Her work is characterized by an innate freedom of observation that is both erudite and curious, with a playful approach. She cultivates a great capacity for scientific and aesthetic investigation, displaying an obsession with material and geometry. This allows her to move across history and traditions, altering the scale of objects and creating new conceptual and decorative canons.
