About the collection

Grace

Grace is Cane-line's teak dining collection, designed by the Danish duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD as a reinterpretation of classic Scandinavian teak furniture. The range pairs a slatted dining table with matching chairs and two- and three-seater benches — all built from Grade A teak, the finest grade on the market, which develops a silver-grey patina outdoors if left untreated. Seats use weather-ready Cane-line cushions, and the collection is specified for year-round outdoor dining in residential and hospitality projects. Compare it with the Chester and Diamond ranges, or browse the full Cane-line collection.

About the Grace collection by Cane-line

The Grace collection sits within Cane-line's permanent outdoor catalog — a reinterpretation of classic Scandinavian teak dining by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD. It is built from Grade A teak, the finest grade on the market, which develops a natural silver-grey patina outdoors if left untreated, or keeps its warm tone with periodic oiling. Cane-line has produced outdoor furniture in Hadsund, Denmark, since 1986.

Material and construction notes

Grace pairs Grade A teak frames with weather-ready Cane-line cushions. For US trade specifiers, Grace carries the same material data sheets and US-trade documentation as the rest of the Cane-line catalog: ASTM F1858 outdoor furniture compliance where applicable, fire-code classification on cushion components, and chain-of-shipment documentation supplied with the invoice. Bespoke fabric or finish substitutions are accepted on COM workflow with confirmed yardage at quote stage; see the Sunbrella and Outdura specifier reference for the workflow at the European factory.

Specifying Grace in US trade projects

Pricing for Grace at US trade typically falls between $1,500 and $7,000 per piece — the dining chair at the lower end, the dining table and three-seater bench higher — before fabric grade, finish premium, and consolidated freight. Lead time is 6-10 weeks from Denmark to US port for standard configurations; bespoke dimensions, COM upholstery, or large hospitality volumes extend by 4-8 weeks. The collection is specified in US hospitality outdoor (boutique hotel terraces, resort restaurants, private dining) and in premium residential outdoor (lake-house, pool-house, rooftop terrace) installations.

Frequently asked specifier questions

What is the Cane-line Grace collection made of?

Grace is built from Grade A teak, the finest teak grade on the market, with seats in weather-ready Cane-line cushions. Left untreated, the teak develops a silver-grey patina outdoors; periodic teak oil keeps the original warm tone. It is engineered for year-round outdoor use.

What pieces are in the Cane-line Grace collection?

Four: the Grace dining table, a dining chair, a two-seater bench, and a three-seater bench. The benches and chair share the same teak frame and cushion program, so they mix around the table.

Is the Cane-line Grace collection covered by trade pricing?

Yes. Cane-line runs a verified US trade programme. Net trade pricing for Grace is shared after qualification (designer of record, project scope) under the standard Cane-line trade terms for premium European outdoor specifiers. COM upholstery and bespoke dimensions are accepted within manufacturer tolerance — see the FF&E procurement workflow.

Care, warranty, and US service life

Grade A teak is engineered for outdoor exposure: rinse with clean water and mild soap, and sand lightly to refresh. Left untreated it weathers to a silver-grey patina; apply teak oil once or twice a year to keep the warm honey tone. Cane-line cushions handle direct exposure but reach maximum service life when stored indoors during off-season in freeze-thaw climates. Teak frames carry a 5-year structural warranty; service life is typically 20+ years with basic care.
