About the collection
SEALINE by Jean-Marie Massaud is a luxurious lounge collection with an easy-chic spirit. Designed to be elegant, comfortable and appropriate in any season or latitude, this compact system is equally at home on the terrace of an African lodge or the deck of a yacht in the Scandinavian fjords. SEALINE features a handcrafted teak frame, plush cushions and a backrest of extra-wide DEDON Fiber. The luxurious elements are easily combined with other DEDON styles.
SEALINE’s design language derives from the world of sailing, where elegance is linked to efficiency. Massaud’s fascination with this world is reflected not just in the choice of materials but in the furniture’s construction as well. “It’s not just an aesthetic choice,” the designer explains, “but an expression of quality and sustainability.”

In situ

Sealine sits within the catalog of DEDON, the German luxury outdoor furniture house founded in 1990, and is designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. DEDON pioneered the synthetic weaving fiber that defines the category; its pieces are hand-woven at the company's own facility in Cebu, the Philippines, on frames of powder-coated aluminium and, in several ranges, teak, with established US trade representation.
For US trade specifiers, Sealine carries the same material data as the rest of the DEDON catalog: weather-resistant DEDON Fiber (UV- and chlorine-stable), marine-grade aluminium hardware, and ASTM F1858 outdoor-furniture compliance where applicable. Fire-code classification applies to cushion components; chain-of-shipment documentation is supplied with the invoice. Bespoke fabric substitutions are accepted on COM workflow with confirmed yardage at quote stage; see the Sunbrella and Outdura specifier reference for the workflow.
Net pricing for Sealine is quoted at US trade volumes, before fiber colour, frame finish, fabric grade and consolidated freight. Lead time is typically 10-16 weeks from the Philippines weaving facility to US port for standard configurations; bespoke dimensions, COM upholstery or large hospitality volumes extend by 4-8 weeks. The collection is specified in US hospitality outdoor (resort pool decks, boutique hotel terraces, restaurant outdoor dining) and in premium residential outdoor (terrace, courtyard, poolside) installations.
Sealine is designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, produced by DEDON. Full material specifications, dimensions and finish options are supplied on request with the trade quote.
Yes. DEDON runs a verified US trade programme. Net trade pricing for Sealine is shared after qualification (designer of record, project scope) under the DEDON trade terms for premium outdoor specifiers.
DEDON Fiber is the brand's proprietary all-weather woven fiber, engineered for UV, frost and salt-spray exposure. Sealine is cleaned with mild soap and water; cushions and COM upholstery follow the fabric maker's care schedule. See the FF&E procurement workflow for the full COM and bespoke sequence.
DEDON outdoor pieces share a common care pattern: quarterly rinse with clean water and mild soap, twice-yearly inspection of cushions and fittings, and off-season storage of soft goods in freeze-thaw climates. Frames (aluminium, teak) typically carry multi-year structural warranties; fibers and fabrics carry shorter terms against UV and stitching, supplied in writing with the quote. US service life on DEDON woven fiber is long when maintained, with COM refresh extending the cushion cycle.
