Play sits within the catalog of DEDON, the German luxury outdoor furniture house founded in 1990, and is designed by Philippe Starck. DEDON pioneered the synthetic weaving fiber that defines the category; its pieces are hand-woven at the company's own facility in Cebu, the Philippines, on frames of powder-coated aluminium and, in several ranges, teak, with established US trade representation.
